A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Fort Payne on Wednesday morning.
According to a news release from Fort Payne Police Chief Randy Bynum, a 2016 Ford F150 driven by 29 year old David Shane Lipscomb struck 44 year old Tyone Dione Rudder of Fort Payne at approximately 9:05 a.m. that day.
Rudder was crossing Gault Ave. South West at the South Y near Glenn Blvd South West. She was taken to DeKalb Regional Medical Center by DeKalb Ambulance Service for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
