An inmate at the Floyd County Jail has been charged in an incident that occurred Monday in which he allegedly pulled a female jail officer into his cell.
According to the report 45 year old Samuel Thomas Knight of an Alabama Highway address also pushed and grabbed the officer and tried to cause her bodily harm.
Knight – jailed since August 21st on probation violation charges – now stands charged with felony Obstruction and Simple Battery against a Police Officer.
