Winston Harold Thomas, age 86, of Centre, passed away Sunday August 26th at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday August 29th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Reed, Rev. Ted Elrod, and Rev. Roger Kiser officiating; burial will follow in Jennings Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Perry Funeral Home.
Pall bearers include Jacob Kiser, Lee Williams, Bryan Kiser, Steve Walker, Wayne Jennings, Ricky Jennings, Ladon Kiser, Nick Morgan.
Honorary pallbearers include Clinton Crider and Brad Walker.
Survivors include wife Wilma Dean Kiser Thomas, brother Ford H. Thomas of Clarksville, TN.; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by brothers J.D. Thomas, Lamar Thomas, Ellis Thomas; sisters Dora Ferree, Doris Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Rome, GA., the son of the late J.D. and Hattie Holsomback Thomas; and a member of Desoto Park Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion ; a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Thomas was also retired from Beakart Inc. of Rome, GA.
