Jerry “Robbie” Wilson, age 62 of Louisiana, passed away Sunday, August 26th.
Funeral services will be 3:PM Friday, August 31st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating; burial will follow in Weiss Lake Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3:PM Friday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Bobby Soverns, Mark Hale, Jr., Joseph Hale, David Hall, Ben Lecroy, Chris Henderson.
Survivors include daughter, Chesica Wilson of Hobbs, New Mexico; mother, Jean Wilson of Gaylesville; brother, David Wilson of Gaylesville; sister, Donna Brown of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Devin Wilson, Deuce Goodrich, Dre Doodrich all of Hobbs, NM; special friend, Brenda Parker; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Wilson; sisters, Beverly Ledford, Sherry Garrett.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Cobb County, GA, the son of the late Jerry Robert Wilson and was of the Baptist faith.
