Four individuals were booked into jail on drug charges shortly before midnight Monday.

Lyndsey Nicole Butler, age 30; Cody Shayne Thompson, 23; and Kyle DeWayne Queen, 27 – all of Leesburg and Justin Lionel Smith, 23 of Gaylesville – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, with the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Violation of the Prohibition Law;

Queen was additionally charged with Attempting to Elude and Smith was also charged with Failure to Appear on the charges of Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 3rd Degree.

All four currently remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
