Third District Congressman Mike Rogers was in Cherokee County on Wednesday as part of his “Congress on Your Corner” meetings held across the district.

The meeting was held at Centre City Hall where a large crowd of constituents gathered, despite the rain, to address their concerns with Rogers regarding issues facing Alabama and the Nation.

Among the topics discussed was the major tax overhaul by the current presidential administration, which passed the largest tax reform in American History.

Another topic touched on during Wednesday’s gathering was the record unemployment rate across the country.
