Two Piedmont residents were hurt in a single-vehicle accident in Cherokee County Sunday night. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, that wreck took place at 9:00 on County Road 29 and involved a 1992 Chevrolet being driven by 54 year old Homer Morris.
Both he and a passenger, 58 year old Lawton Morris were listed as being injured – although no details were available.
That accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
