Piedmont Police Apprehend A Man Who Tried To Elude Officers On Foot

Piedmont officers arrested a man wanted for questioning related to a Theft from Ag-Pro in Piedmont after he tried to elude them on foot on Wednesday of last week.

According to Piedmont Police Chief Freddie Norton, Night Shift Officers went out with Dustin Ray Proctor on US Hwy 278 East. Proctor fled on foot but was located shortly after he fled hiding in a creek.

Proctor had active warrants for his arrest through Polk County Georgia Sheriff’s Office.

During questioning investigators were able to get information to obtain warrants on Proctor for Theft of Property 1st and Theft of Property 3rd.
