In response to the story we posted earlier on the WEIS Radio website, Owners of Weiss Internet Debbie and Donald Sullivan contacted Cherokee County Parks & Recreation Board Treasurer Jerry Baker to inform him that they would like make a donation to help with ongoing projects at the facility.
We spoke to Debbie and she said that since moving to Cherokee County, Cherokee Rock Village has always been one of their favorite recreation spots.
Baker told WEIS Radio News that the contribution of $1,000 will be put to good use and encourages other individuals or businesses to consider lending a helping hand for a great cause.
