One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident taking place around 12:40pm Wednesday, at the Cedar Bluff Bridge on Highway 9.

According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that mishap involved a 2016 Ford, driven by 43 year old April Hackney of Cedar Bluff, and a 2015 Nissan driven by Jarred Campbell, age 18, also of Cedar Bluff.  Hackney was listed on the report as being hurt while Campbell escaped injury, no additional information regarding the extent of Hackney’s injuries was noted.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.

Traffic was blocked for only a short time.
