Mrs. Sheila Burleson Hurley age 64 of Gaylesville passed away Wednesday March 28th at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday March 30th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Freddie Waldrop officiating burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Ricky Dale Jennings, Daniel Johnson, J.D. Van Pelt, Jim Van Pelt, Paul Van Pelt and Justin Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Keith Atkison, H.D. Buttram Jr. and Men of Mt. Zion Sunday School Class.
Survivors include husband, Larry Hurley of Gaylesville; son, Brian (Stacy) Tallent of Gaylesville; daughters, Dena (Kenny) Wilbanks of Gaylesville and Jena Dawson of Gaylesville; mother, Evelyn Burleson Ochsenknecht; brother, Jeff (Connie) Burleson of Gaylesville; grandchildren, Seth Dawson, Lacey Wilbanks and Brianna Tallent; caregiver and friend, Susan Tallent.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Burleson.
Mrs. Hurley was a native of Trion, Ga. and owner of Cherokee Accounting and member of Mt. Zion Independent Church.
