One person was injured in an ATV accident on Thursday afternoon taking place on the East Bypass near Recreational Outreach Center. Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship told WEIS Radio News on the scene that the accident actually occurred off of the main roadway and that one of the occupants of the four wheeler was taken to the hospital and treated for what appeared to be minor injuries.
Centre Police, Centre Firefighters and Cherokee EMS were called to the scene.
