The driver of an 18 wheeler turning right onto the Chestnut Bypass off the Cedar Bluff Road about 9:20 Monday morning, managed to attract the attention of the Centre PD by dropping the wheels of his trailer off the roadway and becoming stuck in the muddy shoulder.

Fortunately, the big rig only caused the flow of traffic to shift to the inside lane until it could finally be dislodged from the roadside.
