The driver of an ATV was airlifted to an area trauma center after being involved in an accident on Deere Run in Leesburg on Friday afternoon.
According to Leesburg Police who was first on the scene, the driver suffered injuries to the head. He was taken from the scene to the Leesburg FEMA Building where was taken by a Lifesaver Medical Helicopter to UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
No additional details about the crash are available at this time. We will have more as soon as the accident report is released.
Cherokee EMS and the Leesburg Fire Department also responded.
