Mrs. Charlene Peek age 70 of Centre passed away Friday February 16th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Sunday February 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Borroughs officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include husband, Bryant Peek of Centre; brother, Jeff (Sharon) Miller of Centre; sisters, Glenda (Roger) Peek of Centre and Regina (Steve) Clayton of Centre; grandchildren, Brittany (Ricky) Selman of Centre, Dalton and Sara Gunnels of Rome, Ga.; several nieces and nephews; special caretakers, Ricky Selman and Ann Vines.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicki Gunnels and brother, Frankie Miller.
Mrs. Peek was a native of Etowah County and the daughter of the late Pete and Imolene Regan Miller and a member of Noah Baptist Church. She was a retired Registered Nurse of 42 years.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Favorite Charity or the family.
