Mrs. Rheba Cothran age 84 of Centre passed away Sunday January 21st at Floyd Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday January 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Nation, Rev. Melvyn Salter, Rev. Rodney Ledbetter and David Cothran officiating, burial will follow in Shady Grove Congregational Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include John Cothran, Billy Rex Miller, Tim Armstrong, Jeremy Hinkle, David Cothran and Jonathan Roberts.
Survivors include sons, Terry (Barbara) Cothran of Rome and Gary Cothran of Centre; daughters, Sandra (Barry) Hinkle of Piedmont, Rita (Buddy) Knapp of Centre; grandchildren, Tamera Armstrong, Jeremy Hinkle, David Cothran, Jonathan Roberts and Morgan Cothran; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cothran; daughter, Jerri Lynn Cothran; grandchildren, Clint Roberts, Amy Townsel and Zack Brown.
Mrs. Cothran was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Emmett Allen and Annie Sewell.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to your church or your favorite charity.
