A Dodge pickup truck was heavily damaged by fire on Wednesday afternoon. According to Cedar Bluff Fire Chief Jason Stewart, the driver of the vehicle stated that the truck ‘sputtered’ as he accelerated from the four way in stop Gaylesville, the driver then pulled over near the old Spearman’s Campground on Highway 68 between Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville and that’s when the cab of the truck begin to fill with smoke.
Cedar Bluff Firefighters arrived on the scene to find flames and smoke coming from the engine compartment of the truck. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.
