A 31 year old Gadsden woman has been arrested on charges of Chemical Endangerment of a Child, which is a felony. According to Investigator Brandi Fuller with the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, Sonya Delores Horton tested positive for cocaine while pregnant.
She currently remains in jail on a cash bond of $10,000. As a condition of bond, she must successfully complete a drug treatment program and upon her release will be monitored by Etowah County Community Corrections.
