Alabama State Troopers Work Two Accidents with Injuries in Cherokee County on Sunday

Alabama State Troopers worked two separate single-vehicle accidents in Cherokee County on Sunday.

The first took place just after 1:30pm on Highway 11 and involved a 2004 Toyota driven by Lanette Yarbrough of Gadsden.

The second mishap occurred just prior to 5:00pm on Highway 411 North near the state line involving a vehicle driven by Centre resident Bobby Parks.  Redmond EMS, along with Cave Spring and McCords firefighters responded to the scene of that wreck.

No additional information regarding the condition of either Yarbrough, or Parks, was noted in the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident reports.

Both accidents remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
