An Etowah County teenager lost his life after being struck by a vehicle early Monday morning, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Colin Lamar Bothwell, 18, of Attalla, died after he was struck by a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder on Duck Springs Road near the intersection of Lawrence Circle, Attalla. The accident occurred shortly before 4:30 Monday morning
Bothwell was standing in the roadway when the vehicle struck him. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
