Ms. Frances Brashier age 83 of Centre passed away Wednesday August 23rd at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services will be 7 PM Thursday August 24th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Hughston officiating, burial will be 10 AM Friday at Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Mike Gossett, Mark Gossett, Shane Sutton, Jeff Gossett, Jimmy Morrison, Charles Davis, Glenn Ferguson and Jimmy Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers include Howard Mackey, Hunter Cobb, Ty Cobb, Jason Cobb, Chris Kelley, Kenny Gossett, Carl Brown, Ken Reason, Ken Woodall, Rick Kelley and John Curry.
Survivors include daughters, Terri (Randy) Kelley of Centre and Amanda (Karl) Kilgo of Silver Creek, Ga.; one sister, Billie Jean Burkhalter of Cedar Bluff; a granddaughter, Mallory Katherine Kilgo; a niece, Donna (Jason) Cobb; special caregiver and friend, Breta Covington.
Mrs. Brashier was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Billy Watt and Melvia Mae Hopkins Cartlidge and a member of First Baptist Church of Centre.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Tate’s Chapel Baptist Church or Senior Citizen Center Activity Fund in care of Janet Tucker.
