Mr. William “Huston” Walker, age 94 of Centre, passed away Saturday, July 29th at his residence.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Tuesday, August 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herbert Reid & Kenny Walker officiating; burial will follow in Howell cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8:PM Monday, July 31st and 12 until 1:PM Tuesday, Aug. 1st at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Darren, Kevin, Eric, Chad, Brad, Logan and Nick Walker, Johnny Puckett, Cam Graham.

Survivors include sons, Michael (Gail) Walker, Gene Walker, Steve (Ellen) Walker, Kenny (Glenda) Walker, Whitt (Paula) Walker and Scott (Stacy) Walker, all of Centre; Daughter, Kay (Tim) Hill of Muscle Shoals; 26 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arnice Walker.

Mr. Walker was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late William Alonzo and Bessie Elizabeth Walker, was a veteran of WWII, he was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cherokee County Cattlemens Association, Alzheimers Association or to New Prospect Baptist Church #2.
