Allen Kee / ESPN Images(NEW YORK) — The NBA held its first-ever awards show on Monday, and the top prize of the night went to Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook, 28, took home the award for most valuable player. In an emotional speech, he thanked his team, fans and family.
