Very little information is being released at this time; however Alabama State Troopers have confirmed that two people are dead following a two-vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer in Etowah County Thursday night.
The wreck reportedly took place just after 9:00pm on I-59 near mile marker 181.
The names of the deceased have yet to be released; the cause of the accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
