ABC/Randy Holmes(LOS ANGELES) — Jimmy Kimmel returned with his prime-time special, Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night, now in its tenth straight year, for Game Three of the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
On Wednesday night before the big game Jimmy shared a video of his sidekick Guillermo, who has been visiting the NBA finals on Media Day for the past six years. But, as Jimmy pointed out, Guillermo has never once spoken to LeBron James. He’s spoken to almost every famous player in the league, but LeBron — whom Jimmy referred to as Guillermo’s own Matt Damon — seems to avoid him every time. In the video, Guillermo decided to flip the script and says it will be him who is not speaking to LeBron. So he goes around talking to other players telling them to tell LeBron he’s not speaking to him. Naturally, LeBron still doesn’t talk to him.
Later, funnyman Will Ferrell joined Kimmel and shared a story about his commencement address to USC, where he sang “I Will Always Love You,” and told a funny story about playing in a charity basketball game with his favorite player, Magic Johnson. After a commercial break, Ferrell returned to take the three-point challenge and sunk the ball effortlessly — on his second shot.
Game Night returns Friday, June 9, at 8 p.m. ET and will feature special guest Owen Wilson.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights on ABC.
