Billy Joe Shelton, age 78 of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, May 21st at Piedmont Health Care Center.
The family will receive friends at Cherokee County Country Club from 4 until 7: PM Tuesday, May 23rd and from 6 until 9:PM Thursday, May 25th at 550 Trackside, Lawrenceville, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Bell Shelton; sons, Joey (Leica) Shelton of Loganville, GA, Jeff Shelton (Mike Hughes) of Tampa, FL; daughter, BeJae Shelton (T.C. Roberts)of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Linda Turner of Grayson, GA, Margaret Cooper of Cleveland, GA, Jeanette Shelnut of Lawrenceville, GA, Sarah Townsend of Loganville, GA, Diane Powell of Calhoun Falls, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Shelton Nava, Nikki Rae Shelton; great grandchildren, Sofia Elizabeth Nava, Braxton Michael Halford; several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Shelton was a native of Barrow County, GA, the son of the late Charlie Wade and Margie Manders Shelton.
