The Historical Preservation Society will be meeting Thursday (February 23rd) at 6:00pm at the Cherokee County Historical Museum on East Main Street in Centre.
Historian Jim Lewis will present the program, which will explain the origin of Black History Month in the month of February.
Admission is FREE and the public is invited to attend.
