Mrs. Pluma McClung age 100 of Centre passed away Tuesday January 31st at Cherokee Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday February 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Daniel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 1 PM at the funeral home. Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis McClung; daughter, Margie McClung; brothers, Buford Covington, Earl Covington, Roland Covington, Howard Covington and Hatcus Covington; sisters, Minnie Brewster, Hassie Short, Lorine Martin, Pauline Wynn and Evelyn Lawler.

Mrs. McClung was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Luther A. and Arnie Cromer Covington and was of the Baptist Faith.
