Mr. James Ray Hunter age 57 of Gaylesville passed away Tuesday November 29th at Floyd Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday December 3rd at Mt. Zion Cemetery (Rhinehart), with Rev. Jared Pickard officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Survivors include wife, Nancy Minton Hunter of Gaylesville; daughters, Keisha Lasha Hunter and Kendra Shanae Hunter both of Gaylesville; father, Jimmie Ray Hunter Sr.; brother, Jimmy Ray (Kristy) Hunter, Jr.; sisters, Viola Sue (Ken) Kinsey of Summerville, GA, Merita (David) Mitchell of Gaylesville and Donna (Lester) Humphrey of Sand Rock; Paw Paw’s pride and joy, grandson, Zachary Connor Hall; 1 Aunt and 2 Uncles; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Meredith Smith.

Mr. Hunter was a native of South Bend, IN and a member of Connect City Church in Summerville. Perry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
