Ingram Publishing/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story about to blast into theaters on Dec. 16, many fans are already binging on their favorite films from George Lucas’ galaxy far, far away.
And what better way to do so than with popcorn cooked with your very own Death Star?
While the real McCoy — at least according to the movies — was able to cook a planet thanks to the focused energy of eight massive kyber crystals, the Death Star Popcorn Maker uses hot air to quickly pop corn.
It’s certainly less powerful than its planet-smashing bigscreen counterparts, but this version not only has a detachable canopy and butter warmer, but the sphere itself splits in half, and the top doubles as a serving bowl.
Rogue One is being released by Lucasfilm, which like ABC News, is owned by parent company Disney.
