iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — How early is too early for a selfie with your baby? How about at the moment of conception?
That’s right: thanks to a new technique from some IVF clinics, the market for a “cell-fie” now exists: a picture can be snapped at the moment when an embryo is fertilized in a lab, giving parents-to-be the earliest possible “baby pictures.”
According to a website of one of the clinics using the “embryoscope” footage, prospective parents can log in to a website to watch a live feed of their developing embryos, then later take the footage as a keepsake on a USB thumb drive.
