On Friday, an Etowah County man apparently died as the result of an injury sustained while working on his property in the Duck Springs area.
According to Etowah County Coroner, London Pearce, 35 year old Ray Voss was attempting to attach a piece of metal to the roof of a structure – located at a pier some 200 to 250 yards from his home. At some point, Voss received a serious cut to his arm and as he was walking to his home, collapsed.
His body was later discovered by a family member, and it’s unclear just how long he’d been lying there before being found.
Voss was the owner and operator of Voss Brothers Lawn Care.
