Spring Garden firefighters have been dispatched to the scene of an 18-wheeler accident just inside the Cherokee County line on Highway 278; early reports indicate no one was injured however power lines are down where the wreck occurred.

Motorists traveling in that direction should choose an alternate route.

Polk County, Georgia units initially responded to that location, because it was first believed the crash occurred had actually taken place in Georgia.
