Gadsden Police have released two surveillance camera images, of a vehicle believed to have been involved in a fatal hit and run incident on August 16th.
The body of 55 year old Lisa Hicks of Gadsden was found around 2:00am last Wednesday in the roadside area near the intersection of Halsey Street and Ewing Avenue; it’s believed she was struck and killed sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 Tuesday night.
Authorities pinpointed that time frame due to information that she had left the home of her boyfriend, about a block away, at around 9:30pm.
Investigators say police are searching for a black, or dark-colored 2000 Jeep Cherokee, with front-end and passenger side damage.
The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Meighan Boulevard.
