Mr. Marion Griffin age 82 of Centre passed away Friday July 15 at Floyd Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday July 18th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Hughston officiating, burial will follow in Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday.

Survivors include sons, Walter Griffin of Atlanta, Ga. and Johnny Howell of Centre; daughter, Leann Alexander of Leesburg; brothers, Earl Griffin of Mentone, Ga. and John Griffin Jr. of Sylvester, Ga.; sister, Margaret Giddens of Sylvester, Ga.; grandchildren, Jacob and Nikki Alexander; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wives Dorothy and Velma Griffin.

Mr. Griffin was a native of Ocilla, Ga., the son of the late John Wesley and Annie Mae Sumner Griffin and was a retired Aerospace Engineer with NASA.
