A portion of Highway 68 in Cedar Bluff was shut down for a short period of time on Tuesday afternoon due to a two vehicle accident that sent two individuals to the hospital.

The mishap occurred just before noon in front of Harton’s Store and involved two Nissan Altimas, Cedar Bluff Police and Firefighters, Cherokee EMS, the Cherokee County Rescue Squad and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene.
