A Georgia man was arrested in Cherokee County on Friday on child sexual abuse charges.
Sheriff Jeff Shaver said that Investigators Josh Summerford, Tony Monroy, and Brent Snead, arrested 24 year old William Cody Steed of Rockmart, for Sexual Abuse of a Child Under the Age of 12.
Steed remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center and is being held without bond. The case is under investigation by the Cherokee County Major Crimes Unit.
