Cherokee County authorities arrested three people on drug charges Thursday night.

47 year old Ronald Lawrence Smith and 51 year old Janice Renea Madden – both of Piedmont – were charged with one count each of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Anthony Wayne Thomas, age 32 of Collinsville, was also charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Smith and Madden were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center around 8:00pm and Thomas was booked in just before 10:00pm.

All three await setting of bond.
