A Cherokee County Grand Jury has indicted a local man on a drug charge.
That indictment, on the charge of Unlawful Distribution of a Controlled Substance – was handed down to 40 year old Lawrence DeWayne Wiggins of Piedmont.
He was booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly before 11:00am Tuesday, with bond set at $5,000.
