It’s time to roll up your sleeves and help out in the fight to save lives, by giving blood during the upcoming Blood Assurance Blood Drive in Centre.

The Blood Assurance Bloodmobile will be parked in front of Cherokee Medical Center between the hours of 10:00am and 2:00pm next Monday (June 9th) for those wishing to donate.

We recently spoke with Felicia Atterton regarding the critical need for blood donors to come out during this time of year:

The importance of donating can’t be overstated – as each donation can save multiple lives:

Donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds

Each donor during Monday’s drive will receive a complimentary snack along with a free double -sided baseball t-shirt. You can also register to win a Dollywood Family Prize Pack.

Once again – that drive is scheduled for Monday (June 9th) from 10:00am – 2:00pm at Cherokee Medical Center on Northwood Drive.
