Cherokee County authorities arrested four people on drug charges overnight.

According to information posted on the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office website, Anissa Paige Anglin, 25 of Centre and 36 year old Leah Fitzgerald Gilliland of Anniston – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Dylan Simpson Porter, age 20 of Gaylesville and Sherry Diane Pledger, age 57 of Cedar Bluff – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both Anglin and Gilliland were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 2:00am while Porter and Pledger were booked in just after 1:00am.

Bond for all four individuals has been set at $1,000 each.
