Mrs. Mary Doegg age 84 of Centre passed away Wednesday April 9th at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Friday April 11th at Old Nazareth Baptist Church, with Rev. Derrick Evans, Rev. Josh Bryant & Rev. Brent Poole officiating, burial will follow in Old Nazareth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Thursday.
Pallbearers include John Rogers, Bill Burgess, Johnny Wynn, Dennis Pledger, Kenny Dodd & Richard Kerr.
Survivors include son, Roger Doegg of Centre: daughters, Brenda (Ken) Woodall of Centre, Pat Green of Centre: brother, Ernest (Skeeter) Pledger of Cave Spring,Ga., 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren & Chosen Grandson Cary Weaver, several nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Doegg, and son Randall Doegg.
Mrs. Doegg was a native of Floyd County Ga., the daughter of the late Hearlie and Julia Fuqua Pledger and was a member of the Old Nazareth Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Old Nazareth Baptist Church or the family will accept flowers.
