Dixie Youth Baseball is just around the corner.
During a recent Centre City Council meeting, Councilman Derrick Wheeler gave an update on improvements that still need to be made to the fields.
Wheeler mentioned that he is once again seeking Special Use Funds from the Cherokee County Commission.
Wheeler then spoke about recent problems the league has had with scorekeeping.
The Dixie Youth Board and Recreation Department Director Charles Glazner support a new way to keep score.
The Dixie Youth Season starts the first week of April.
