Leesburg, Centre and Sand Rock Fire Department Units were dispatched to reports of a structure fire on County Road 7, off of Highway 411 near Sawyer Nursery, shortly after 10:00am Monday.
Firefighters arriving on the scene were greeted by smoke billowing from a huge outbuilding that is situated directly behind the home.
Initial reports indicated that the home and a vehicle were in danger to begin with – however units arrived on the scene within minutes of the report and quickly contained the fire to the outbuilding
No one was hurt during the fire and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
