The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Boaz man on charges related to alleged sexual contact with a teenage boy.
According to a news release from the sheriff, 21-year old Barry Jacob Conner is charged with two counts of second degree sodomy and one count of possession of pornography with minors, all are felonies.
Conner allegedly sodomized a 15 year-old male on multiple occasions at a residence on Thornhill Road in Boaz.
The incidents began in October 2012.
Pornographic images were discovered, by Investigator Bobby Bryant, on Conner’s cell phone.
While speaking to investigators, Conner admitted to having a sexual relationship with the victim.
Conner was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $75,000 property bond.
