Additional information has been released concerning the arrest of two brothers on drug charges.
According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, investigators received tips concerning illegal activity at a residence on County Road 3, which led to the arrest of 37-year old Trinity D. Boyd and 35-year old William S. Boyd.
Based on the information received, a search warrant was obtained and executed at the residence on December 12, 2013.
Officers found illegal drugs and manufacturing equipment and are investigating electronics and firearms seized at the residence.
The Boyd Brothers are charged with various drug related offenses with more charges pending.
