A four-year-old Floyd County child was found unharmed following Wednesday afternoon search lasting approximately two hours.
Sullivan “Sulley” Craver was last seen at a home located on Flora Avenue at around 4:00pm, and was discovered inside the backyard of a home on Saddle Mountain Road just before 6:00pm.
The distance between the two homes was estimated by police to be just under half-a-mile.
Floyd County Police Sergeant Teri Davis says police were even more concerned since they knew the child would not respond if he heard them – as he is non-verbal and unable to hear. Davis says it’s too early for police to determine if foul play was involved in the child’s disappearance.
A missing child call was issued by police Wednesday – which automatically notifies about 1,000 people by phone in a small radius.
