According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver – additional charges have been filed against a Centre man who was arrested October 21st on several drug related charges, along with a number of outstanding traffic warrants.
James Kenneth Mooney, age 37 reportedly made statements which lead investigators to obtain an additional warrant against him for the offense of 2nd Degree Rape.
Mooney is currently incarcerated in the Cherokee County Detention Center – with bonds totaling $150,500.
