Chattooga County authorities have arrested a convicted sex offender charging him with failure to register.
29 year old Ronald D. Beasley was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on those charges, after moving and failing to register his new address with the sheriff’s office.
His last known address was reportedly on Moon Street in Trion.
Beasley was convicted of statutory rape in 2004 and spent time in Hays State Prison.
By law, all sex offenders are required to register with local law enforcement when they move.
