According to the website al.com, 45 year old Willie Brown, was shot and killed outside the home at 1220 Kentucky Avenue – with the first call reporting the incident coming in at 12:38am.

That shooting is similar to another incident taking place last Saturday night (August 17th), on the Meighan Boulevard Bridge when two men, 53 year old Billy Baker and 35 year old Jobari Player – were killed by gunfire, from what is believed to have been an AK-47.  The two were fired upon by the occupants of another car.

Brown’s body has been sent to Huntsville for an autopsy.

Both cases remain under investigation.
